live here, shop here, cook here (Istanbul) as the other neighbourhood residents do. Walking distance from
everything. The ability to come ‘home’ a few times a day in between excursions meant we could do more in a
day without exhausting ourselves. We will recommend your apartments to anyone travelling here.

Home away from home. Perfect little apartment secluded by a beautiful garden. We had a great week in
Istanbul. The neigborhood is very pleasant and less touristic as Sultanahmet. We’ll certainly recommend this

The guide book recommend staying in Sultanahmet but this area is much better as a base. We loved the
artisan/arty feel of the area which is more authentically local and less touristy  than the other side of the bridge.
And this apartment is right in the thick of it, close to almost any amenity you could want. It even has a jazz club
opposite! The local restaurants are excellent value .. you can also go up to the smart looking Amemon Galata
Hotel in the square just for a drink -- it's worth it for the view and surreal image of the Tower looming above.
It's fun discovering the non-prescriptive touristy things to do and this place has lots of them. The apartment is
nicely laid out and apart from the occasional intrusions from the call to prayer is surprisingly quiet. Great stay.
Istanbul is embedded in our memories.

What a wonderful, central location. I really enjoyed the privacy of this little courtyard apartment. The garden

Glorya Garden Studio was the perfect place for me to spend my week in Istanbul, I wish it were so simple to find
such comfortable, well situated and convenient digs everywhere I travel.   The studio felt more like  a well cared
for little home, with all its contingent amenities,  than an impersonal rental.   The location was perfect too, close
to everything while being in a real neighborhood outside the distractions of the tourist zone.

I had an absolutely lovely time here in Istanbul, mostly due to this fabulous  apartment.  The location is great
because it is away from most tourist areas --so one isn't hassled --but close enough to everywhere that I could
walk. Glorya Garden Studio was charming and the perfect size for me -- but I was able to accommodate a guest
for a week without feeling cramped. The best part was definitely the courtyard garden -- I loved sitting out there
on sunny afternoons.
