The pretty five story building
dating from the early 1930s has
been completely restored.
Belkis Apartment has five one-bedroom
apartments, one per floor.  The entry floor
private patio garden in back. The top floor  
penthouse (No 5) has a small sitting room that
opens to a private roof terrace. Apartments 2, 3
and 4 are identical.

All apartments are attractively decorated and
fully equipped to a high standard with quality
furniture, Turkish rugs, original photographs,
natural gas heat and hot water, satellite
TV-DVD, CD player-radio, telephone for local
calls, wireless internet, iron & ironing board,
scale, hairdryer, fluffy white Turkish towels and
bathrobes, luxury linens and duvets, and books
& magazines about Istanbul and Turkey.  
What a great alternative to a hotel -- I
appreciated the helpful information
provided in the pamphlet, the
cleanliness of the apartment and the
location. Had a relaxing time staying at
